Rudy and Rachel are bestfriend >>[SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE] . They have been >>[PRESENT PERFECT TENSE] a bestfriend since they were at the kindergarten. They have some similarities. Both of them love to play computer games, scrabble, monopoly, and even the musical instruments. They do really love music. It seems like they both growing up, sorrounded by music. But, they have a different life. Rachel lives with her happy complete family, on the other hand, Rudy lives only with his grandfather.

One day, Rudy told >>[SIMPLE PAST TENSE] Rachel that he had to sell some things that he owned, to make some money. He really needed the money for his grandfather, who was in the hospital. He asked Rachel, if she could help him to choose what to sell. Rachel wanted to help, but she didn't want to help him choosing. She wanted to help him by giving some money. Rudy refused Rachel's offer. He said that, it wouldn't be good for him and also her family. He only needed her help to choose what thing to be sold. Rachel kept persuading him, but it didn't change Rudy's mind.

Finally Rachel gave up on him. She thought that if he had already refused >>[PAST PERFECT TENSE] her offer, so why should she prevail him anymore. In the end, Rachel told Rudy, that she had known which was the best thing to be sold. She said that it was the best if Rudy sold his scrabble and monopoly board game. Because, if then he wanted to play scrabble or monopoly, he may >>[FUTURE TENSE] use Rachel's and they could play together.

At last, Rudy sold his monopoly and scrabble board game, made some money which could pay his grandfather's medicine which cost $1, and they live happily ever after.
